Alphabet: My vote for the fan favorite. We were graciously allowed to sample some of the work from a longtime collaborator of mine ACS One. He's a wonderful producer from New York and has a knack for inventive electronic sounds. He really makes this track what it is. So does Easton. The song is about an old friend of ours and what it's like to lose someone. I think it's ridiculously personal and none of you deserve to hear it. It was the first initial spark that led me to think that we could actually make an album. I think the catchiness and immediacy of it will really create some buzz for us. There's nothing quite like it and it's nothing like I've ever produced before. In fact, it's overproduced with a thousand vocal effects and cacophonous melodies and sounds. That's the main appeal of the track for me.

Soup: This song came about very early on when we started working on the album. Alphabet sent me this beat that he said he made a couple of years ago but scrapped for his previous solo work. I really enjoyed the 808s and drums he used and he even added a weird vocal sample in the background for some texture, it really grabbed me and I told him we had to use it for the album. I remember listening to some Michael Jackson and having Man in the Mirror come up on shuffle and it brought me back to my childhood when I used to hear the song all the time. I decided to look up the actual lyrics to the song since I never really knew what it was really about. What I came across was really inspiring and I thought the concept of the track would be something that would fit in on our own album. That night I wrote the chorus and the next day I sent it to Alphabet. He was ecstatic with the flow I used and so after that moment, we knew this was going to be our biggest song yet.
